The Inaugural program of Portrait Artists Group was held on December 30, 2014 at the most revered place for Artists, Sir J J School of Arts, Mumbai, in the mammoth presence of more than 500 artists, art lovers, art students and people from press & media and the Guests of Honor Shri Vishwanath Sable, Dean, Sir J J School of Arts, Shri Suhas Bahulkar, Shri Anil Naik and Founder Chairperson Shri Vasudeo Kamath the Portrait Maestros trio of India, creating a landmark.
Formal unveiling of the Portrait Artists’ Group Logo and Name was followed by the welcome address and felicitation of the Guests.
The event of the day was Three Portrait Maestros making live portraits of each other in the prestigious Portrait Studio of Sir J J School.. The whole program was screened at the main hall of Sir J J School of Arts which was packed fully and the enthusiastic viewers enjoyed witnessing the event, standing for hours. This program was compeered by Gayatri Mehta, artist and founder trustee of PAG.
